Brother Knights-
We would like to thank everyone who participated in the retreat yesterday. A total of 20 Knights attended. The meeting started promptly at the scheduled time of 10:00am and concluded on time at 2:00pm. Everyone was engaged, positive, and very respectful of each other. There was a significant amount of input, discussion, and sharing of ideas. We discussed four main topics (listed below) and developed input for committees for each of the topics.
Topic # 1: Ways to increase participation and spread the work load.
Outcome: A committee was formed to present a draft plan at the April 2024 Member Meeting. The committee members are Kevin Jones, John Williams, Don Sheppard, and Dave De Puy.
Topic #2: Develop an Annual Work Plan that spreads out the work over the year better than in the past.
Outcome: A committee was formed to present a draft plan at the March 2024 Member Meeting. The committee members are Jim Schmitz, Tom Lasser, David Miller, and Mario Dalla Vella
Topic #3: Improve the organization and structure of the meetings
Outcome: A committee was formed to present a draft plan at the April 2024 Member Meeting. The committee members include Don Sheppard, Chuck DelVecchio, Steve Mohring, and Michael Fust
Topic #4: Discuss ideas on how to raise money and spend the money.
Outcome: Input was provided to the finance committee.
