The Ashland Strawberry Faire will be on 1 June 2024 at Randolph Macon College. The Council will be raising money by setting up the day prior, keeping trash cans from overfilling on the day of the fair, and picking up after the fair. There will be 4 shifts. The first shift works the day prior on 31 May 2024 from 0900 to 1100. 6 workers are needed. Duties include loading the truck at the warehouse on Route 1 (next to the Best Buy Furniture Outlet, north of town). Then unloading the truck at the fair. Also help out lay wire for the electrical system. The second shift works on 1 June 2024 from 0900 to 1300. 4 workers are needed. Duties include any last minute set up help and ensuring the designated trash cans at the fair are not overflowing. The third shift works from 1300 to 1700 on 1 June 2024. Duties are the to ensure the designated trash cans are not overflowing. The 4th and last shift is on 1 June 2024 from 1700 to 1900. 6 workers are needed to collect and load stuff from the fair and move to the warehouse to unload. 4 pick up trucks are needed to help with this move. Plus help pick up the electrical system.

Gregg Palmer will provide refreshments to drink. Please bring your own sunscreen, work gloves, hat, sunglasses, sturdy shoes and wear Knights of Columbus clothing.
