The Ashland Strawberry Faire is a fundraising event for the Knights of Columbus Council 7538. We get paid to help keep the Faire running. To execute this mission on Friday the 6th of June and Saturday the 7th of June, we will need 4 Teams of Knights. The First Team works on Friday morning. The Team consists for 4 pick up truck drivers (one with a trailer) and 2 workers. The shift starts at 0900 at the Supply Store Warehouse north of Ashland on Route 1. The 4 trucks and trailer are loaded with signs, trash cans, tables and chairs. Plus cables for the electrical system. The shift transports stuff to the Faire site (Randolph Macon College) and helps set up. Shift runs from 0900 to around 1200.
Second Team meets at the Faire Site at 0900 on Saturday and takes care of last minute set up and monitors trash cans. Full trash bags in trash cans are emptied into a dumpster. 4 volunteers are needed.
Third Team starts at 1300 and does the same as Second Shift. Plus help gather stuff to transport back to the warehouse. This Team needs 6 volunteers.
Forth Team is the same as First Team. If we can get the same Knights to sign up for both Teams, there will be consistency, but could be other Knights. Forth Team transports stuff back to the ware house with 4 trucks and a trailer, plus 2 workers.
