Worthy Knights,
Our good friend and brother Knight Lorenzo Ambrogi has passed away this weekend. Many of us saw him at Mass Saturday. He looked pale and tired but he had that Lorenzo smile and wave for everyone. I said the last of the Mohicans because I believe Lorenzo is the last surviving Knight that started our Knights council back in 1981. There is a plaque hanging in our Knights meeting room with Lorenzo’s name and all the other men who formed the JMJ council. I called Crissy Lynn, his granddaughter to give our condolences and I let her know if she needs anything to call on any of us Knights. Crissy sits next to Lorenzo at Mass every Saturday. Crissy’s mother, Lorenzo’s daughter is starting chemo therapy yesterday for brain cancer so she really has her hands full. We will probably get a funeral notice from the church with funeral arrangements soon. We will have to show up for Lorenzo and say our goodbyes.
