Gregg will be placing our Council’s order for Coats for Kids in a few weeks. Our council budgeted enough $ to purchase 4 cases.
If any brother would like to donate $ for additional cases, please let Gregg or me know by the end of September. Cases now cost $284. Shipping is included in that price.
The last two years, brothers donated enough $ to purchase 6 additional cases.
If any brother knows of an agency or organization that could use a case, please let us know.
A case usually goes to the church coat drive (Helen Smith) and one usually goes to the St Mike’s cause in Appalachia church in the southwest part of VA.
I recommended Hanover Safe Place just north of town on Rt 1. They provide temporary housing, food, clothing and more to women and children that are dealing with domestic violence.
