Per the Virginia State Council By-Laws, Article VII, Section 3, sub paragraph (g), (h) and (i), this message is intended to advise all members of the Virginia State Council of the deadline and the standard formats for submittal of Resolutions and Resumes for those Brother Knights/Candidates seeking a State Officer position and/or Delegate to the 144th Supreme Convention to be held in Denver, CO, August 4-6, 2026.
Individuals seeking election to a State Officer position shall provide an electronic copy OR hard copy of both their Resolution and Resume to the Nominating Committee Chairman by January 22, 2026.
Individuals seeking election to be a Delegate to the Supreme Convention shall provide an electronic copy OR hard copy of their Resolution (no Resume required) to the Nominating Committee Chairman by January 22, 2026.
Please note: Resolutions and resumes timestamped or postmarked after 22 January 2026 shall not be considered.
Your electronic submission must be sent to: . Your hard copy documents must be sent to: Nominating Committee Chairman, 2810 Still Breeze Ct., Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
Your resolution shall be no more than one page and must be signed and dated by the Grand Knight and Recorder on the night of the Subordinate Council approval. A sample resolution is attached. Your resume shall be no more than two pages long and focused on personal actions related to the Virginia State Knights of Columbus position being sought.
