Strawberry Faire is this weekend, we still need help on a few shifts. So far this is what I have for Knights that have signed up.
Friday June 5th, 9am-12noon, Dave D., John Williams, Joe Nowlin, Mario, Tom, Gregg P., Dave Macera, Kevin Jones( bring trucks please).
Saturday June 6th, 9am-1pm; Kennedy, Myron, Gregg P., Jimmy K. driving EZ-Go)
1pm-5pm; Dave DePuy, Don Sheppard, Gregg P. Jimmy K. driving EZ-Go
4pm-7pm; Scott Alexander, Tom, Mario, Gregg P. Kevin Jones (bring trucks please)
I feel like we need one more person on the 1-5 shift and 2 more helpers on the 4-7 shift .
On Friday morning lets all meet at the Supply Room warehouse on Rt. 1 (9am) just north of Ashland on the right side across from the lumberyard. We will load all Faire supplies into our trucks and deliver to Randolph Macon Campus where Faire takes place. Thank you to all who have signed up to help with this good fund raiser. We will earn $2000.00 this year for the council.
On Saturday the morning shift is a bit slow but it really gets busy at lunch time. Trashcans get overfilled quickly so we will pull the full trash bags, put in new bags and call Jimmy K. to pick up the trash and haul to a dumpster. The dumpster will probably be in the same spot as last year. Trash bags are supplied by the Faire organizers, if not I will run to the store real quick. Call me if you have any questions, thank you so much for helping with this fundraiser. It is going to be hot this weekend . I will bring some drinks. Bring sunglasses and a hat and maybe your nametag or Knights shirt.
