Tonight, at the Millie’s Home Gala, our council was presented with “The Velvet Hammer” award. This award of one of three different awards presented to volunteers that are partnering with Millie’s Home. Attending tonight’s gala was Mario and Marian D., Jimmy and Elaine K., Brian and Cherie K, Gregg P., John W., Michael F. and Kennedy W. Our council has worked on two different projects at Millie’s Home since Sarah Dunford, CEO of Millie’s Home, presented to our council back in November 2025. At least eleven different brothers worked on these two projects. We have another project in works, more info to follow.
