Armed Forces Day – Mt Calvary Cemetery American Flag Placement – May 16, 2026

Brothers,

This is a 2nd request.  We need 4 more 3rd Degree members and/or family members to volunteer for 4 hours on May 16th, 10am to 2pm.  We are requested to submit the names by Monday, May 11th to the 4th Degree Regional Master.

I am not sure how many of you have participated in placing flags at gravesites of vets and fallen members of the military, but I am certain you will and your family members will walk away feeling American patriotism in your hearts.  Deceased vets and military members killed in the line of duty deserve our attention to placing a flag at the grave site at Mt Calvary Cemetery.

Please, 3rd Degree Knights, respond and represent Council 7538 in honoring our heroes.

Vivat Jesus,

Kennedy

Worthy brothers,

We need 6 Knights, family members or friends to let me know if you/they are available for 4 hours on Armed Forces Day, May 16th, for a Military Services Memorial Wreath Laying Ceremony and American Flag Placement at Mt Calvary Cemetery, 1400 South Randolph St, RVA.

I would like to see 3rd Degree Knights volunteer.  4th Degree Knights have other duties that day at the cemetery.

Flyer is attached.  Please contact me via:  response to this post, or email/call me at:  /804-347-8458.

Dave Macera is heading up the 4th Degree activities for our council.
