Worthy Brothers,
Good Morning and Happy Independence Day! As we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our nation, let us take a moment to reflect upon all those who fought and sacrificed for the rights and freedoms we enjoy every day. Our values of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and especially Patriotism, directly coincide with the founders of our great republic who desired to create a “more perfect union.”
People across Virginia SEEK for truth, meaning, and purpose in their lives. They will FIND that in Our Lord Jesus Christ; and through the Knights of Columbus. Along the journey, they will learn to LOVE and grow in their faith and fidelity to our Holy Church, and to each other.
On this milestone day, I want to offer my personal thanks for everything you do to live out the dream of our founder, Blessed Michael McGivney, supporting our parishes and communities, and building up the family. We provide hope and inspiration through our service and witness that there is still good in the world.
May God bless you and your families on this beautiful day, and may we always strive to “Seek, Find, Love” Christ, in all the things that we do, now and forever, Amen!
