All council members, family and friends are invited to the National Columbus Day Ceremony on Monday, 12 October 2026.
The ceremony starts at 11:00 am at Columbus Plaza, Union Station, Washington D.C.
Since Columbus Day is a Federal Holiday, free parking is usually easy to find around Union Station.
In preparation for our nation’s 250th birthday, the Christopher Columbus statue and fountain have been cleaned up and renovated. I’ve been informed that the fountain, which has been inoperative and boarded up for decades, is actually fully restored and working again. Don’t miss this historic celebration honoring our order’s patron!
